About the Tour
If you’ve ever suspected that beer is more interesting than the grown ups told you, you’re right. Tuatara is one of the leading lights of New Zealand’s world-beating craft beer scene and this is the perfect chance to peek behind the curtain and find out where all those head-spinning flavours come from.
Here’s what you’ll see and do on a reconnaissance of their brand new secret headquarters in Paraparaumu, just up the road from Wellington, Craft Beer Capital:
- Go on a tour led by either a production manager or master brewer.
- Get a comprehensive introduction to the brewing process
- Get a close-up look at the raw ingredients
- See brews getting put together from grain to beer
- Try a selection of Tuatara brews with tasting tips from your all-knowing Zen beer master
It’s a must for the beer fanatic or just the beer curious. The 45 minute experience includes the tour and four tastes, but you’re very welcome to further burnish your awareness by staying on for a bite and a drink afterwards. Only 20 fortunate individuals can do the tour at a time, so booking is essential if you want to secure a spot. Tours are strictly R18.
Each tour is restricted to a maximum of twenty (20) people, so we do require you to book and pay in advance on the tour bookings section of our online store. Tour gift vouchers are also available on our online store.
PLEASE DON'T show up to a tour without having booked and paid - if we haven't received any bookings for a particular time-slot, then that tour will not take place! This applies to both regular and Daily Deal customers.
If you are unable to use our online booking and payment method, or have any tour related enquiries, then please contact our friendly "zen beer master" Fraser McInnes on 027 239 0007 or firstname.lastname@example.org and he'll be more than happy to help you out.
If you have made a booking for a large group (10+ people) and are interested in some post-tour nibbles and drinks, we highly recommend you pre-order your food from our special catered menu. Please contact Fraser to arrange this.
